Taking advantage of the space of the program “Ambientalmente falando”, the project coordinator, Sara Terroso, highlighted the 10 years of Laboratório da Paisagem and the value of their projects. In the talk, the architect explained a little more about Green Gap, touching on topics such as the recovery and renaturalization of the Ribera da Agrela, a project that aims to promote the regeneration of areas near the course of the river as it passes through urban and rural areas and highlighted the revegetation in plots of wasteland by planting native forest species.
The Laboratório da Paisagem has stood out for the deployment of international practices in sustainable development policies, deepened in three main axes: knowledge, research and education for project management and applications, and environmental communication and training. During these ten years the laboratory has worked hand in hand with the Municipality of Guimarães, parishes, universities, schools, green associations, municipal and private companies and the general public.
